Central Indiana has got talent!

What is CICSA?

CICSA is a group of eighty plus Christian songwriters from central Indiana. Our members run the gamut from beginning writers to traveling professional performers.

Our goals are that, through the power of a Godly community of Christian songwriters and associated friends, we might:

  • increase the awareness of the rich pool of talented songwriters in Central Indiana to churches, artists, venues, labels, and the general public.
  • instruct and mentor new songwriters in the art of song crafting.
  • promote those writers who also perform through monthly "in the round" concerts at churches, coffeehouses, and other venues.
  • encourage collaborative songwriting within the group.
  • develop and host a local radio show of original indie Christian music.
  • develop a website to promote songwriters to churches, venues, other artists and industry professionals. This website would allow the visitor to hear, read about and communicate with each writer. The website is under construction at this time.
  • record compilation CDs of membership for distribution to churches, venues, and labels.

We wish to do this that we might better communicate the love and praise for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through the songs He places in our hearts.

CICSA has monthly meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month where all are invited to attend, as well as "Christian Songwriters In The Round" concerts almost every weekend somewhere in central Indiana.

Please come and join us for one of our events and let God put a song in your heart.

Song Intervention
CICSA's "Song intervention" One of the popular activities at a CICSA meeting. Bring several copies of the lyrics for
folks to follow and make comments on, and try-out a new song to get useful help and feedback. For more information about "Song Intervention" click here
